Terfamex OD
Terfamex OD is presented in orodispersible tablets , that is, they are placed under the tongue and disintegrate instantly, releasing the active substance. The box of this product contains 30 tablets with 15, 30 and 37.5mg each.
It is the highest dose of Terfamex, which is only available in orodispersible tablets. This dose is recommended once a day, preferably in the morning.
When to take Terfamex?
The treating physician is the only person authorized to tell you when and how to take Terfamex tablets. However, the normal daily doses for each treatment are:
- In the cases of formats of 30 or 37.5 mg , take a dose of Terfamex tablets once a day. This should be taken at least 1 or 2 hours before breakfast.
- In the cases of the 15 mg format , take a dose of Terfamex tablets twice a day. The first dose in the morning and on an empty stomach, as indicated above. The second dose between the first three hours of the afternoon.
It is very important to avoid the consumption of Terfamex pills 8 hours before going to bed, due to the effect of its main component, phentermine HCL , which can cause insomnia
